Boulder-Mante Sister Cities Project

Mante Business Outreach

Student Exchange

BMSCC would like to develop a student exchange program, of qualified students, between Boulder and Mante.  In August, 2001, a Boulder student became the first BMSCC exchange student to Mante.  The next year a Mante student became the first BMSCC exchange student to Boulder.  Exchange student applicants and host families will be needed in future years as this program becomes a routine feature of the Sister City relationship.

This year, the Boulder Mante Sister City committee is hosting two high school age students in the Boulder area.   Abraham Yapur is enrolled at Centaurus High School, while Eduardo Benavides Espronceda is enrolled at Boulder High School.  For these two students, the visa application process was coordinated through Sister Cities International, a process to insure proper follow-up with the students throughout the year.
